The Story
Sewing with lycra. Always wanted to unleash your inner superhero and throw on your super suit but not sure where to begin? Come join Artemis Costuming as she will guide you through the basics of sewing with lycra so you can create your own superhero outfit. In this class you will learn how to sew a basic crop top, as well as making a basic glove and answering any questions you might have about this type of fabric.
Helena aka Artemis Costuming is an award winning cosplayer with a passion for helping others. She was Oz Comic-Con’s 2016 Melbourne winner and 2017 Sydney Sewing winner with a tonne of other award under her belt. She has also accomplished a diploma in costume design and has worked with NICA and the AFL to bring costumes to life.
This workshop will run around 3 hours.
Cost: $95 per person. Includes: All materials and supplies (inc. sewing machine).
What to bring: Closed toe shoes.
This class can have a maximum of 4 people.
This workshop MUST be booked in advance.
